SESSION TIMES

The Pre-School is open from 9am - 3pm from Monday to Friday. Children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old are welcome to attend any combination of these sessions.

From September 2024, we will be offering an extended morning session from 08.30am-09.00am

Morning sessions: 9am - 12pm

All day: 9am-3pm

All children are required to attend a minimum of 2 sessions a week.

Lunch Club is available from 12pm - 1pm on Monday to Friday, for parents who want to extend their child's care after a morning session. There is an additional charge of £7.50 or alternatively you can use your FEE/ FEET entitlement for lunch club too.

Last Minute Drop Off operates every day. Parents can call in the morning and book their child into the Pre-School that day if there are spaces. These sessions will be added to your next invoice.

SESSION CONTENT
All sessions are planned with the key EYFS principles in mind, which guide the work of all Early Years Practitioners.

There are four main themes:

Within the themes are seven areas of learning:

Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Communication and Language Development
Physical Development
Mathematics
Literacy
Understanding of The World
Expressive Arts and Design

We are committed to planning and implementing aspects of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Both through play based and planned activities children get the chance to choose their own activities with adults interacting closely alongside. Staff also plan regular activities to promote learning and development within different areas of the EYFS.
